Today, you are 6 months, 2 weeks and 1 day old. How is it possible that we've only known each other that long, and yet somehow I feel like my life was never complete without you? Every day with you is such a joy. I can't wait to get home from work and snuggle you tight in my arms. You're getting big so fast, but you're still small enough that you love to snuggle me right back - and sometimes bite my shoulder with your sweet, drooly little mouth.
Right now some of your favorite things include bath time, being tickled, rolling around on the floor, chewing on anything you can get your chubby little hands on, and being read to. You can't really talk yet, but you babble with purpose. You love to say "mamamama" and it just melts my heart. You also like to say "buh" and "ah-guh." I can't wait to see what "real" words you will start to say in the near future.
You're always growing, always learning, and always making your Daddy and I laugh. You gave up on pacifiers a while ago, and now you much prefer to suck on a washcloth or a blanket or your stuffed puppy. You're such a big boy, and you're also such a little guy. Six months is such a fun age. I just love being your mom. You make everything so, so much better.
